Erect or ascending, tomentose-hirsute perennial 10-30 cm, with persistent rosettes of leaves. Leaves 10-30 x 6-20 mm, oblong or ellipticoblong to broadly ovate, obtuse, rounded or cuneate at base, crenate, villous-tomentose. Verticillasters 4- to 6-flowered, crowded. Calyx 5-10 mm, villous-tomentose; teeth c. J as long as tube. Corolla 12-14 mm, pale yellow, tomentose; upper lip 4-5 mm; lower lip 5-6 mm. Maritime sands. Coasts o f the Mediterranean and Black Sea. Al Bu Co Ga Hs It Ju Tu.
