Distribution. It extends from Senegal to the East of Democratic Republic of the Congo. In Equatorial Guinea it has been reported in Bioko at Bahía de San Carlos and Musola ( Boulenger 1906; Capocaccia 1961a) ( Map 32B ).

Comments. We provide the first record of this species for Río Muni.

Specimens examined. One specimen. Río Muni: San Joaquín de Ndyiacom, October 1987 (EBD 27765).
