Range:— Endemic to Bolivia ( CO) ; known only from the type collection.
Ecology: — Rare; terrestrial along trailside in humid montane forests; 2700 m.
Notes: — Amauropelta nephelium has shorter rachis and longer, denser costal hairs than A. furva .
