Range:— Endemic to Bolivia ( LP) ; known from only the type collection.
Ecology:— Rare; terrestrial in a wet roadside ditch in humid forests; 2300 m.
Notes:— Differs from A. aspidioides by its sessile pinnae with biauriculate bases, more pairs of reduced basal pinnae (3–5 vs. 1–2), a thicker blade texture, and less deeply divided blade apices.
