Range:— Endemic to Bolivia.
Ecology:— Fairly common; terrestrial in humid forests; 1900–3100 m.
Notes:— Related to Amauropelta linkiana , but A. yungensis has shorter costal hairs and more acute segments, and round sori. One or more bud(s) are often present in axil(s) of distal pinnae.
