Range: —Andean foothills from Colombia to Bolivia (CO); western Brazil.
Ecology: —Rare, known from four Bolivian collections; terrestrial in humid forests; 500–600 m.
Notes: — Meniscium angustifolium also has appressed blade hairs, but can be separated by its narrower pinnae (usually to 2.5 cm wide) with 4–10(13)-seriate areoles. Spores of this species are echinulate, contrasting with spores of other menisciums in Bolivia ( Fernandes et al. 2014).
