Type species: Idiocerus minor Bierman , by original designation.
Diagnosis. Yellow to brownish. Hind tibiae with 14–17 setae on row PD, 6 setae on AD and 9–10 setae on row AV. Hind basitarsus with 3 platellae. Male pygofer with ventroposterior triangulate lobe on each side, with long process on inner surface (except B. annulatus ). Segment X fused to pygofer. Connective stem slender. Aedeagal shaft pustulate; gonopore subapical or at midlength of shaft.
Distribution. Australia, China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines.
