Distribution. Austria, Belgium, Britain, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Poland, Russia (north-western and central European parts, Karachay-Cherkessia, Krasnodarskiy Territory), Slovakia, Sweden, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Ukraine.
Remarks. The species is recorded from the Caucasus ( Georgia; Karachay-Cherkessia and Krasnodarskiy Territory of Russia) for the first time. This is a common species, known from mountain forest (900–1400 m a.s.l.) and is active from May to September.
