Distribution in Iran. East Azarbaijan ( Sakenin et al. 2008 as Microctonus morimi ). Distribution outside Iran. Italy ( Ferrière 1931; Yu et al. 2012).

Host records. Morimus asper Sulzer ( Coleoptera : Cerambycidae ) ( Yu et al. 2012); Agapanthia (Smaragdula) violacea (Fabricius) ( Coleoptera : Cerambycidae ) ( Sakenin et al. 2008).
