Distribution in Iran. Guilan, Mazandaran (Farahani and Talebi 2012; Sedighi and Madjdzadeh 2015). Distribution outside Iran. Austria, China, France, Germany, Ireland, Japan, Korea, Netherlands, Sweden, UK ( Stigenberg and Ronquist 2011), Georgia, Russia ( Yu et al. 2012).
Host records. Meteorus breviantennatus has been recorded as a parasitoid of Tomicus minor (Hartig) ( Coleoptera : Scolytidae ) ( Martikainen and Koponen 2001). Also, Tobias (1986) reported this species as the parasitoid of Ips acuminatus (Gyllenhal) ( Coleoptera : Scolytidae ). Yu et al. (2012) reported Blastophagus minor (Hartig) ( Coleoptera : Curculionidae ).
