Distribution in Iran. Mazandaran (Farahani and Talebi 2012; Farahani et al. 2012; Sedighi and Madjdzadeh 2015).
Distribution outside Iran. Belarus (Lobodenko 2000; Yu et al. 2012), Norway ( Stigenberg and Hansen 2013), Sweden, ( Stigenberg and Ronquist 2011; Yu et al. 2012), UK ( Stigenberg and Ronquist 2011; Yu et al. 2012; Stigenberg 2013; Stigenberg and Shaw 2013).
Host records. This species has been reared from wet stumps in a study on saproxylic insects in Sweden ( Stigenberg and Hansen 2013).
