Finland, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Slovenia, Switzerland, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, former Yugoslavia ( Yu et al. 2012), Belgium ( Wesmael 1835, 1838 as Perilitus brevipes ; Szépligeti 1904; Yu et al. 2012), Croatia ( Papp 2010; Yu et al. 2012), Czech Republic (Lozan et al. 2010; Yu et al. 2012), France ( Yu et al. 2012; Stigenberg 2013), Germany, Sweden ( Szépligeti 1904; Yu et al. 2012), Norway ( Stigenberg and Hansen 2013), Turkey ( Yilmaz et al. 2010; Yu et al. 2012), UK ( Marshall 1885, 1887 as M. albicornis ; Yu et al. 2012; Stigenberg 2013; Stigenberg and Shaw 2013).
Host records. Meteorus consimilis is a parasitoid recorded as parasitizing on the larval stages of Scolytus multistriatus (Marsham) ( Coleoptera : Curculionidae ) (Yu et al. 2005; Stigenberg and Hansen 2013).
