Material examined. Kermanshah province, Paveh, 35°00′N 46°18′E, 2♂, April 2011. New record for Iran.
Distribution outside Iran. North America , West Europe (Chen and van Achterberg 1997), Belgium ( Wesmael 1835 as Leiophron ater ; Yu et al. 2012), Bulgaria, Canada, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Sweden, UK ( Yu et al. 2012), China, Russia (Chen and van Achterberg 1997; Yu et al. 2012), Hungary ( Papp 2006 as Ancylocentrus ater ; Yu et al. 2012), Turkey ( Yilmaz et al. 2010; Yu et al. 2012).
Host records. Sitona scissifrons Say ( Coleoptera : Curculionidae ), Stigmella basiguttella (Heinemann) , Stigmella poterii (Stainton) ( Lepidoptera : Nepticulidae ) ( Yu et al. 2012).
