polypuncta View in CoL ( Orthopha ), (1952) 1951: 142. [ Cuculliinae ] ( Fig. 233)
Type status (description). Holotype in Köhler’s collection.
Type locality and collectors. [ Argentina]— Río Negro : Cipolletti (Köhler) .
Type specimens. ZSM: Holotype ♀. Argentina, Prov. Rio Negro , Bariloche, P. Koehler leg. Old label: Cipolletti, Rio Negro, Leg. Köhler.
Figures. Köhler, 1979a: fig. 16 male genitalia (slide #1300).
Remarks. Although Köhler did not specify the sex of the holotype, he described only the female. Köhler (1979a: 22) redescribed male and female and mentioned “habitat” [localities]: “ Mendoza, Mendoza, Borsani leg. Paso Limay, Rio Negro, 21.x.58, Gentili leg.” and a male from Mendoza as an allotype for the species (which is a posterior, invalid, designation and should be desestimated).
