Type status (description). Holotype in Köhler’s collection.

Type locality and collectors. [ Argentina]— Chubut: Comodoro Rivadavia , 3.ii.1930 (V. Oort) .

Type specimens. ZSM: Holotype ♂. Argentina, Prov. Chubut, Comodoro Rivadavia , 3.II.1939, V. Oort leg. Old label: Com. Riv.-27, 3.2.1930, V.O. Genitalia slide #637.

Remarks. Although Köhler did not specify the sex of the holotype, he described only the male. Köhler (1945) described only the male and designates only holotype, but it is likely that he erroneously on figure 9c illustrated an adult and referred to as a female.
