lesa ( Calophasia ), 1979a: 32. [ Cuculliinae ]
Current status. Andesia lesa [ Angulo & Olivares 1999a]
Type status (description). Holotype in Köhler’s collection, paratypes in Gentili’s collection.
Type locality and collectors. [ Argentina]— Neuquén: Piloli , 750 m, 6.xi.1967 (Gentili). Slide #1283 .
Type specimens. No type material was found in any of the collections examined or consulted.
Figures. Köhler, 1979a: fig. 27 male genitalia (slide #1283); fig. 59 adult.
Remarks. Although Köhler described both male and female, he only designates holotype and paratypes. In the IFML there is a female allotype with the following label: Argentina, Neuquén, Pilolil, 750 m, 6.xii.67, M. Gentili. TLEP143. This specimen being same as figure 59 ( Köhler 1979a). It is likely that Köhler misgendered this specimen and later found it was a female and labeled as “ allotype ”, it being an invalid designation.
