Distribution in Korea. CB, GB, GN, GW, JN ( Kwon 1983, as A. polygoni ; Cho et al. 2017a; Kwon & Kwon 2020) (SNU).

Host plant. Persicaria lapathifolia (L.) Delabre ( Polygonaceae ) ( Cho et al. 2017a).

Comments. Older references of Aphalara polygoni should be treated with caution as they may refer to other, closely related species. We assume that Kwon & Kwon (2020) checked the data given by Kwon (1983) under Aphalara polygoni .
