Distribution in Korea. GW ( Kwon & Kwon 2020).

Host plant. Rhus L. ( Anacardiaceae ) ( Kwon & Kwon 2020).

Comments. The female specimen illustrated by Kwon & Kwon (2020) differs slightly from material from China, the Czech Republic, France, Greece, Switzerland and Turkey (MHNG, NHMB) in the forewing with a slightly straighter fore margin and a more broadly rounded apex. Also the surface spinules leave narrow spinule free stripes in the former but cover the entire wing membrane in our material. Whether the specimen reported by Kwon & Kwon (2020) belongs to C. rhois or a closely related species cannot be decided at present. Pending a revision of relevant Korean material, we leave C. rhois on the list of Korean Psylloidea .

Kwon & Kwon (2020) list Calophya nigridorsalis cited by Konovalova (1988) and Yang et al. (2009) under the synonyms of C. rhois . The descriptions by Konovalova (1988) and Yang et al. (2009) as well as material from Taiwan (NHMB), that we have examined, leaves no doubt that both records concern C. nigridorsalis and not C. rhois .
