Family Prochaetodermatidae Salvini-Plawen, 1972

Remarks. The family name Prochaetodermatidae was stablished by Salvini-Plawen (1968b), but without a description or definition, so was not available from that publication (ICZN Art. 13.1.1). Prochaetodermatidae is available from Salvini-Plawen (1972). Scheltema & Ivanov (2000) and Ivanov & Scheltema (2001) incorrectly considered Salvini-Plawen (1975) to have provided the first diagnosis, but it was changed for Salvini-Plawen (1972) in subsequent works (e.g. Ivanov & Scheltema 2002, 2008).
