Colobothea sordida Aurivillius, 1902: 221 ; Monné, 2005: 351 (cat.); Wappes et al., 2006: 38 (distr.).

Geographical distribution. Described from Brazil "Amazonen Fluss." and distributed in Ecuador, Peru, Brazil (Amazonas, Rondônia), and Bolivia. Mentioned by Wappes et al. (2006) for Bolivia (Cochabamba).

Specimens examined. BOLIVIA, Cochabamba: Provincia Chapare, female, 10.X.1950, H. Zellibor leg. (MNRJ).
