Holotype female and paratypes collected at Kella, Co. Florina, Macedonia ( Greece), on 2nd July 2011 on Q. macedonica . The species is only known from Greece. Type materials are kept in the Acari collection of the Laboratory of Agricultural Zoology and Entomology, Agricultural University of Athens, Athens, Greece and one paratype in the Natural History Museum, London, UK.
