Genus Meggoleus Townes, 1971 View in CoL
This is a small genus that before now included only one Brazilian species, M. spirator (Townes 1971) . The genus is characterised by the exceptionally large propodeal spiracle ( Fig. 4 View Figs 1–11 ), a character unknown in other ichneumonids. A further species of this genus is described below from Gabon.
