Distribution. Palaearctic (excluding North Africa, Middle East and Middle Asia) ( Ter-Minasian 1950).

Material examined. Rivne Prov.: 1 spec. ( SIZK) near Perebrody, Dubrovytskyi Forestry, Pivnichne Forestry , bank of channel, sweeping, V. Yu. Nazarenko leg., 10.vi.2008 ; 3 spec. ( SIZK) Sarny Distr., 9 km NE Klesiv, environs of Karasyn and Puhach , near Somyne Lake , sweeping, V. Yu. Nazarenko leg., 13.vi.2008 ; Sumy Prov.: 2 spec. ( SIZK) Seredyna-Buda Distr., Ochkyne env., Desna River floodlands, sweeping, V. Yu. Nazarenko leg., 18.vi.2006 ; Zhytomyr Prov.: 1 spec. ( SIZK) W environs Selezivka, floodlands on left bank of Bolotnytsia River , upward of pond, sweeping, V. Yu. Nazarenko leg., 16.vi.2012 .

Biology. Nemoral and boreal forests. Adults occur in V–VII. On herbaceous plants: Sanguisorba officinalis , Comarum palustre , Filipendula ulmaria , F. palmata , Agrimonia pillosa , Rubus fruticosus , R.idaeus , and Epilobium palustre ( Ter-Minasian 1950) .
