Distribution. Europe, Caucasus, Asia Minor, Kazakhstan, West Siberia ( Caldara 2013b).

Material examined. Donetsk Prov.: 2 spec. ( ZIN) Yarova, meadows, Arnoldi leg., 30.v.1937   .

Biology. Bogs, wetlands. Adults occur in III–X ( Dieckmann 1983). On Sparganium erectum   ( Typhaceae   ) ( Hoffmann 1954; Dieckmann 1964; Smreczyński 1972; Lohse 1983e; Caldara & O’Brien 1998; Mazur 2002); Potamogeton gramineus   ( Potamogetonaceae   ) ( Dieckmann & Behne 1994; Sprick 2001).
