Distribution. West Palaearctic (excluding north) ( Tryzna & Valentine 2011).

Material examined. Luhansk Prov.: 2 spec. ( KUMN) Starobelsk Distr., near Bilovodsk , 30.v.1914

Biology. Steppes. Adults occur in IV–VI. Monophagous on Reseda lutea (Resedaceae) ; larva in seeds ( Cmoluch 1989)

Family APIONIDAE (142 species, 40 genera)
