Distribution. Europe, Asia Minor, Siberia, Mongolia, Russian Far East, North Africa ( Alonso-Zarazaga 2011a).

Lukjanovich leg., 15.viii.1927 ; Sumy Prov.: 1 spec. ( ZIN) Shostka , Kurnakov leg., 17.viii.1940 ; Zakarpatska Prov.: 1 spec. ( ZIN) 14 km N Svaliava, Kryzhanowski leg., 30.vii.1974 .
Biology. Mixed and deciduous forests. Adults occur in V–IX ( Dieckmann 1977). On Betulaceae : Betula pubescens ( Hoffmann 1958; Smreczyński 1965); B. pendula ( Solodovnikova 1963a; Dieckmann 1977; Mazur 2002).
