Distribution. Europe, Caucasus, Levant, North Africa ( Alonso-Zarazaga 2011a).

Material examined. Crimea: 1 spec. ( ZIN) Alupka, N.N. Filippov leg., 16.ix.1936 ; 1 spec. ( ZIN) Mezhgorie, D. R. Kasparyan leg., 11.ix.1980 .

Biology. Forest edge, xerothermic grasslands. Adults occur in III–X ( Dieckmann 1977). On Trifolium aureum , T. campestre , T. dubium ( Hoffmann 1958; Smreczyński 1965; Dieckmann 1977); Coronilla scorpioides ( Hoffmann 1958; Dieckmann 1977); T. hybridum , T. medium , T. pratense (Fabaceae) ( Dieckmann 1977).
