Distribution. Central and East Europe, Iran ( Alonso-Zarazaga 2011a).

Material examined. Crimea: 1 spec. ( ZIN) NE of Alushta, Luchistoye , O.N. Kabakov leg., 18.v.1978 .

Biology. Xerothermic grasslands, ruderal habitats. Adults occur in V–IX ( Dieckmann 1977). On Cota tinctoria (Asteraceae) ( Penecke 1928; Smreczyński 1965; Dieckmann 1977; Wanat 1995; Mazur 2002).
