Biology. Xerothermic grasslands. Adults occur in VI–X ( Dieckmann 1977). On Asteraceae : Carlina vulgaris , Echinops ritro ( Hoffmann 1958; Alonso-Zarazaga 1991; Wanat 1995); Centaurea jacea ( Hoffmann 1958; Smreczyński 1965; Dieckmann 1977; Alonso-Zarazaga 1991; Wanat 1995); C. scabiosa ( Dieckmann 1977; Alonso-Zarazaga 1991; Wanat 1995).
