Biology. Forest edge, slopes, meadows. Adults occur in V–VII. On Campanulaceae : Campanula carpatica , C. erinus , C. glomerata , C. patula , C. rapunculoides , C. rapunculus , C. trachelium , Phyteuma orbiculare ( Hoffmann 1958) ; C. persicifolia , C. rotundifolia , Ph. spicatum ( Hoffmann 1958; Smreczyński 1976).
Note. Identification of Miarus species is based on examination of male genitalia, thus many historical records of C. campanulae from Ukraine are probably refer to C. ajugae or other species.
