Distribution. Europe, Caucasus, Levant, Kazakhstan, Siberia, Russian Far East, Mongolia ( Caldara 2013a; Caldara & Fogato 2013).

Material examined. Luhansk Prov.: 1 spec. ( ZIN) Luhansk env., V. Talicky leg., 11.vi.1928; 2 spec. ( ZIN) Provallya, Talicky, 14.vi.1929; 1 spec. ( ZIN) Provallya , Luhansk env., Talicky leg., 29.vi.1928; Zakarpatska Prov.: 1 spec. ( ZIN) Rakhiv Distr., Yasynya, Lazeschina River , 800 m, Zaslavsky leg., 3.vi.1958 .

Biology. Xerothermic grasslands, salty grasslands, ruderal habitats. Adults occur in IV–VIII ( Arzanov 2000). On Plantaginaceae : Plantago lanceolata , P. media ( Penecke 1928; Hoffmann 1958; Smreczyński 1976; Caldara & Fogato 2013); P. coronopus , P. major , P. maritima ( Hoffmann 1958; Smreczyński 1976; Caldara & Fogato 2013).
