Distribution. Central and East Europe, Caucasus, Asia Minor, Levant, Kazakhstan, Siberia, Mongolia, North China ( Caldara 2013a).

Biology. Grasslands, limestone and sands. Adults occur in V–VIII ( Dieckmann 1988). On Caryophyllaceae : Gypsophila fastigiata ( Smreczyński 1972; Lohse 1983h; Dieckmann 1988); G. paniculata ( Lohse 1983h; Dieckmann 1988; orig. data); G. altissima (Isayev 2007) .
