Distribution. Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Balkans, Turkey, SW Ukraine.

Material examined. Odesa Prov.: 3 f. ( KUMN) Kyshevske Forestry, meadow in primary forest, S.I. Medvedev leg., 18.vi.1955; 1 m. ( ZIN) Odesa env., Khadjibey, 16.v.1926 , Odesa agricultural scientific station.

Biology. Grasslands and meadows in forests. Adults occur in V–VI. Polyphagous, in grass litter.
