Material examined. Lviv Prov.: 1 spec. ( DMLU) Zolochiv Distr., Lysa Hora; Chernivtsi Prov.: 20 spec. ( SIZK) larvae and adults, near Zavoloka, hills, meadows, 280 m, on Inula salicina and Centaurea scabiosa, V.Yu. Nazarenko leg., v.1996; v.1997
Biology. Meadows. Adults occur in V. On Inula ensifolia ( Mazur & Wanat 1994) , Inula salicina , Centaurea scabiosa . In lab trials beetles consumed Centaurea , Galinsoga parviflora , and very poor on Inula britannica , rejecting I. helenium (Asteraceae) ( Nazarenko 1998d; 2000a)
