Records. CRI (i) [ Nazarenko & Sviridov 2005].

Distribution. Possibly originates from Oriental Region; it was introduced with tamarind and naturalised in many tropical countries worldwide. ( Plarre 2010; Lyal 2011)

Material examined. Crimea: 1 spec. ( SIZK) Simferopol Distr. , Pozharskoye, S. V. Sviridov leg., 24.vi.1991 .

Biology. Natural habitats in Ukraine are unknown. Monophagous on Tamarindus indica (Fabaceae) ( Cotton 1920; Plarre 2010)
