Distribution. The species has previously been reported from Brazil, Costa Rica, Ecuador, French Guiana, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Panama, Peru, and Suriname ( Metcalf 1963a; Sanborn 2011 a, 2013, 2014, 2018b, 2020a, c, d; Sanborn & Maes 2012; Maes et al. 2012).
