Type species. Ferreolomorpha artemis Turner, 1910 , by original designation.
Diagnosis. Female. The female possesses the following characters: head small and flattened; clypeus very short; pronotum as long as mesoscutum, sometimes little longer or shorter; propodeum vertically or obliquely truncate, opaque and smooth; transverse line on S2 visible, but not deeply impressed; profemur very stout in lateral view; metatibia with small spines, not serrate dorsally. Male. Unknown.
Species included. Austrosalius artemis ( Turner, 1910) ( Australia: Queensland), A. malignus (Smith, 1858) ( Indonesia: Maluku Province: Aru islands), and A. mikhailovi Loktionov , sp. nov. ( Indonesia: West Papua Province).
Distribution. Australia (Queensland), Indonesia (Aru, West Papua) ( Turner 1917, Elliot 2007, and current data).
