comb. nov.

Hygronemobius sanaco ( Otte & Perez-Gelabert, 2009) , n. comb.

Pteronemobius sanaco Otte & Perez-Gelabert, 2009: 111 .

Type material. Holotype: Belize, Sittee River , coastal forest, 1 male, ii.1995 (D. Otte), ANSP.

Type locality. Holotype: Belize, Sittee river , coastal forest.

Remark. Pteronemobius sanaco is mostly characterized by its coloration pattern, TIII spurs, and size. The photos of male genitalia given by Otte & Perez-Gelabert (2009), although not of optimal quality, clearly show the distinctive characters of Hygronemobius as defined by Desutter-Grandcolas (1993), namely the hemispherical shape of ectophallic fold and the divergent and ventrally oriented membranous distal lophi of pseudepiphallus ( Otte & Perez-Gelabert, 2009, Fig. 83G). These traits unambiguously reveal that P. s a na c o belongs to Hygronemobius . We consequently propose this recombination.
