Dimensions of seven females: L = 0.49 - 0.55 mm; a = 26-31; b = 3.6 -4.0; c = 7.7- 8.6; V = 7 - 848 -50 7 - 8.

Body curved generally throughout, though less strongly than in P. acuminatus . Cephalic setae 6 \x long,i.e.as long as width of lip region; directed anteriad, the tip bent outward. Lip region somewhat truncate, lips distinct. Ampids questionmark shaped, 1.9-2.4 [x in diameter or 20- 25 % of corresponding body width; located about halfway the mouth cavity. The latter is cylindrical throughout, prostom not widened; 18-19 \L long. Cuticular annulation distinct and rather deep, especially on the tail. Tail length is equal to five or six anal body widths; the tail is bent ventrad in the proximal half, almost straight in the posterior half. These specimens, apart from being smaller, correspond well to the type specimens from Sweden.
