Species. T. amicitae Lent

Etymology. The studies on the Triatominae that we have been conducting for many years have led to good friendships with a few colleagues, among whom we highlight the late Arthur Neiva, Peter Wygodzinsky (from Tucumán), Robert L. Usinger (from California) and W. E. China (from London). The species described here was identified by Usinger as a new one and it is to this author that we owe the spontaneous granting of the material: this species has a name explained by the last few lines ( Lent 1951b: 429).

Original citation.
