Species. T. uhleri Neiva
Etymology. Dr. Uhler identified this species as new and, in a manuscript, had given the name Conorhinius confluens not only to specimens belonging to his private collection in Baltimore but also to others in the collection of the Washington Museum. Having been given the task of identifying the triatomines in the collection of the U.S. National Museum, by Mr. Otto Heidemann, I came across these specimens, which were named in homage to Dr. R. Philipp Uhler ( Neiva 1911a: 422).
Original citation.
