Type :— PHILIPPINES. Balabac Island: 16 October 1906, Merrill 5374 ( lectotype: US 00093431!, lectotype designated in Margońska et al. (2012); isoleototypes: AMES 101099 About AMES !, BO 0072252 !, E!, K!, PNH) .

Pseudoliparis inexspectata (J.J.Sm) Szlachetko & Margońska (1999: 277 View in CoL .). Basionym: Microstylis inexspectata Smith (1928: 33) View in CoL .

Type:— INDONESIA. Sumatra: Garden Sibolangit, on fallen Arenga stem, 500 m, 23 November 1917, Lorzing 5427 ( lectotype: U 1470156 ! well preserved flowers, lectotype designated here; isoleototypes: BO 1322507 !, label only, BO spirit coll.! specimens bad quality) ; sine prec. loc.
