Record as epibiont on cnidarians: Fernandez-Leborans et al. (2013) reported this species as epibiont on the hydrozoan Dicoryne conferta (Alder, 1856) , which was found on gastropod shells inhabited by the hermit-crab Pagurus bernhardus (Linnaeus, 1758) from the west coast of Scotland.
Record as epibiont on other hosts: This species was also reported attached to crustacean copepods and on the branchiae of amphipod Corophium volutaror (Pallas, 1766) (as C. longicorne ) in Roscoff ( France) ( Collin 1912; Curds 1985; Fernandez-Leborans & Tato-Porto 2000b).
