Record as epibiont on cnidarians: Under synonymic name Cothurnia compressula this species was reported on hydroids Obelia sp. from Departure Bay, Canada ( Wailes 1943; Mccazuley & Hancock 1971).
Record as epibiont on other hosts: It was also reported on red algae from Departure Bay, on bryozoan Bugula sp. from the Gabriola Island coast, and on harpacticoid copepods of genus Diosaccus fom Saanish inlet ( Wailes 1943; Mccazuley & Hancock 1971).
