Trematosoma complatana ( Gruber, 1884)
Record as epibiont on cnidarians: This species was described (as Acineta complatana ) on hydroid Halecium beanie (Johnston, 1838) , collected near Genova, Italy ( Gruber 1884).
Record as epibiont on other hosts/substrata: The species was also found on bryozoans from the Mediterranean Sea near Sète, France ( Collin 1912). Later the species was observed at artificial substrates (glass slides) exposited near Quingdao, China ( Chen et al. 2005) and in the Black Sea near Gelentzyk ( Dovgal 2013).
Remarks: It was transferred into genus Tramatosoma by Dovgal (2002) based on the arrangement of the tentacles in two rows.
