Luxophrya limbata (Maupas, 1881)
Record as epibiont on cnidarians: The species was found on hydroids from Southeastern coast of Australia ( Kahl 1934) and Strait of Georgia ( Wailes 1943).
Record as epibiont on other hosts/substrata: The species was found on plants and animals in Algier coast, the North Sea and the Atlantic Ocean ( Kahl 1934). Wailes (1943) found this species on algae and bryozoans from Strait of Georgia. The species was observed at artificial substrates (glass slides) exposited near Quingdao, China ( Chen et al. 2005).
