Record as epibiont on cnidarians: Under synonymic name Cothurnia calix View in CoL the species was recorded on hydroids from Departure Bay, Canada ( Wailes 1943; Mccazuley & Hancock 1971).
Record as epibiont on other hosts: The species also found on the algae from Departure Bay, Canada ( Wailes 1943, Mccazuley & Hancock 1971). The species was found attached to freshwater Confervae ( Warren & Paynter 1991).
