Habit and habitat. Resupinate on dead trees in secondary vegetation.
Identification. This species can be recognized by the resupinate basidiomata with brownish colours, the hymenia composed by truncate spines, which are yellowish when young, becoming olive brown when aged, and the globose, brown spores, 4.0–5.0 × 2.5–3.6 µm. Our material agrees with the descriptions provided by from Valenzuela et al. (2014) and Hembrom et al. (2014).
