Etymology. The noun in apposition refers to the type locality.
Diagnosis. Females are distinguished from those of other Dominican species by the epigynal posterior plates with straight anterior borders and by the semi-oval atrium ( Figs 5E View FIGURE 5 , 6F View FIGURE 6 ).
Description. Female (Holotype). Coloration: carapace and legs as in Syspira jimmyi . Chelicerae and padipalps red brown. Labium, endites and sternum brown. Abdomen gray with long dorsal white spots in four rows, ventrally gray. Total length 16.8, carapace length 7.2, width 5.3. Eye diameters: AME 0.23, ALE 0.24, PME 0.27, PLE 0.28. Chelicerae 1.6 long, with 3 promarginal and 2 retromarginal teeth. Leg measurements: femur I—5.5; II—5.2; III— 4.6; IV—5.8. Palp spination: patella p1; tibia p2-1-0, d1-1-0; tarsus p1-0-0, r1-1-0, d1-0-0. Leg spination: I—tibia v2-2 -0, p0, r0, d0, metatarsus v2-2 -0, p0, r0, d0; II—tibia v1 r-1r-2, p0, r1-1-0, d1-1-0, metatarsus v2-2 -0, p0, r1-1- 0, d2-2-2; III—tibia v2-2 -2, p1-1-0, r1-1-0, d2-2-0, metatarsus v2-2 -1, p1-1-1, r1-1-1, d2-2-0; IV—tibia v2-2 -2, p1-1-0, r1-1-0, d2-2-0, metatarsus v2-2 -2, p1-1-1, r1-1-1, d2-2-0. Epigynum: primary spermathecae small; secondary spermathecae globose; copulatory ducts very long and coiled; fertilization ducts short ( Fig. 5F View FIGURE 5 ).
