Diagnosis. The new species can be distinguished from its closely allied species by having an extremely large, elongate triangular saccus that is about 2/3 the length of the valva, and an aedeagus that has two ribbon-like apical processes.
Description. Adult ( Fig. 3 View FIGURES 3–8 ). Wingspan 9.5 – 10.0 mm.
Head yellow, speckled with black scales. Labial palpus yellow, first palpomere with black scales, second palpomere ringed with black scales at middle and near apex; female third palpomere ringed with black scales at middle. Antenna yellow; scape mottled with black scales and flagellum ringed with yellowish brown dorsally.
Thorax and tegula yellow, with dark brown scales basally. Forewing yellow, with yellowish brown scales; costal margin with five black spots almost evenly spaced from base to basal 3/4, with two ill-defined black dots in distal 1/4; discal, discocellular and plical stigmata black, plical stigma largest; terminal dots black, running along termen to tornus; fringe black. Hindwing and fringe grey. Legs yellow; on ventral surface, femora of fore- and midlegs black, tarsi black at middle of first and second tarsomeres as well as on entire third and fourth tarsomeres, tibia of foreleg black, ringed with yellow at middle and near apex, tibia of midleg black, with yellow stripe at basal 1/3, at middle and at apex; on outer surface, hindleg with black scales, tarsus black at base of each tarsomere.
Male genitalia ( Fig. 15 View FIGURES 15–20 ). Uncus sub-trapezoidal, folded laterally, with setae laterodistally; apex shallowly concave in broad V-shape medially, forming two mastoid lobes. Gnathos with ventral plate horizontally banded, slightly narrowed from middle to each tip; basal arm with length same as width of ventral plate. Tegumen V-shaped, with a triangular anterior emargination; lateral arm longer than median width. Valva narrowly elongate, uniform in width, rounded at apex, with a tuft of stout setae at basal 1/3 above ventral margin; transtilla lobes expanded near middle, narrowly joined mesially by membrane; sacculus shorter than 1/3 length of valva, gradually narrowed from base to near apex, produced to a strong process hooked dorsad distally. Saccus extremely large, elongate triangular, narrowly rounded at apex, 2/3 as long as valva. Juxta U-shaped; lateral lobe broadly banded except distinctly narrowed apically. Aedeagus clubbed in basal 1/4, inflated to about middle, distal half consisting of two elongate ribbon-like bands: one about half length of other, expanded distally; the longer one curved, pointed at apex.
Female genitalia ( Fig. 27 View FIGURES 27–32 ). Apophyses anteriores shorter than half length of apophyses posteriores. Eighth sternal plate concave in small V shape at middle on posterior margin, forming two hillock-like lobes with long setae. Lamella antevaginalis bowl shaped, narrowed anteriorly. Ductus bursae longer than corpus bursae, with dense granules. Corpus bursae sub-elliptical, granulate on posterior half; signum an irregular plate, subtriangularly produced posteriorly.
Distribution. China (Yunnan).
Etymology. The specific epithet is derived from the Greek aniso- and penis, referring to the unequally lengthened distal process of the aedeagus.
